Employment Opportunities At UMaine

Oversees the Center's effort to provide high quality employment opportunities for UMaine students and alumni, including all aspects of the on-campus recruiting program. Develops and implements activities to enhance the Center's mission and objectives in the area of employer relations. Typical hiring range for this position is $51,500 - $55,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

Required :

• Bachelor's degree with related experience required.
• Sound judgment, communication, organizational, supervisory and interpersonal skills, as well as initiative and creativity are required.
• Demonstrated ability to create and build constituent relationships, particularly with students, employers, faculty and alumni.
• Demonstrated ability to speak persuasively to small and large groups.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to use technology, including the Internet and web-based applications, to manage databases and services and to develop print and electronic informational and promotional pieces.
