Job descriptionProvide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical care during scheduled blocks Perform both routine and complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure continuity of care Respond promptly to emergent cases and intraoperative consultations Maintain accurate and timely operative and patient care documentation Adhere to hospital protocols and quality assurance standards Active Virginia medical license required Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Whether you need long term coverage for your practice, short term vacation coverage, or anything in between – you can trust Barton Associates to provide the flexible staffing solutions your organization needs to thrive.
