Extended Job Title : SHP Adjunct Instructor - Audiology program
Position Description : Performs professional level work at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center by conducting classes on a per-course or limited-term basis, without any guarantee of continuing employment. Responsibilities encompass the coordination and instruction of one or more courses within a prescribed curriculum. Teachers in this classification usually specialize in the academic subject, professional discipline or technical skill being taught at the time of employment. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based upon results obtained. May supervise subordinate employees assigned to area of responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Teaching duties for the School of Health Professions Audiology program.
- Provide clinical audiology services to pediatric and / or adult populations.
- Supervise graduate clinicians providing clinical audiology services to pediatric and / or adult populations.
- Provide clinically related teaching in one or more courses associated with the Audiology program.
Qualifications
AuD – Doctor of Audiology degree.Preferred qualifications include : Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology; an unrestricted audiology license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation; experience providing clinical services to pediatric and / or adult populations; experience supervising audiology graduate students.Other Information
