The Associate Field Service Engineer in Fargo, ND is part of the Service Organization and will work fully remote. You will report to the local Field Service Supervisor and support troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and repair of Beckman Coulter equipment. Your work directly impacts patient health and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Under minimal direction, complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications and service repair of Beckman Coulter equipment while providing excellent and efficient customer service and technical training.
- Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal records, order repair parts, and adhere to cycle times using business systems such as OBI, Salesforce and SharePoint.
- Communicate with internal and external customers at all levels, recognizing and addressing their unique needs. Foster collaboration by assisting with training of newer Field Service Engineers.
Essential Requirements
Associate degree (preferably in technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related field) or equivalent military experience and 1 year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment or instrumentation.Current valid driver's license with a good driving record over the last three years and ability to travel periodically to other areas, including overnight stays.Physical capability to lift, lower and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted and to bend, stoop, twist, turn, crouch / crawl, push / pull, sit / stand for extended periods, and reach at, above and below shoulder level.Good hand and finger dexterity, flex / extend neck and ability to work with precision tools.Preferred Qualifications
1+ year experience in advanced troubleshooting.Experience developing relationships with internal and external customers to foster positive partnership and enhance satisfaction and retention.Technical college major such as biomed, engineering or related.Remote Work
The role is eligible for a fully remote arrangement. Additional information about remote work will be provided during the interview process.
Pay & Benefits
