Head of Security

A company is looking for a Head of Security to lead and own the comprehensive security strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a holistic security strategy encompassing cybersecurity, blockchain security, physical security, and operational security

Oversee blockchain and smart contract security, including audits and protections against exploits

Establish incident response and crisis management plans, conducting simulations and drills

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in security leadership roles, preferably in fintech or crypto

Proven track record in developing comprehensive security strategies, including blockchain security

Strong leadership skills with experience in building and mentoring high-performing teams

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced certifications are a plus

Familiarity with DeFi-specific risks and technologies is highly desirable
