Start Date : December 15, 2025
End Date : March 16, 2026
Duration : 13-week contract
Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)
Hours per Week : 36
Weekend Requirement : 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
Block Scheduling : Yes
Patient Ratios : 1 : 3
Dress Code : Solid navy blue scrubs for licensed nursing personnel
Orientation : 36 hours
Estimated Weekly Salary : $1850-$1980
ER RN Qualifications & Requirements
Active Registered Nurse license (compact state RN license accepted)
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (Level II Trauma Center experience preferred)
Proficiency with Epic charting system
Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
Community hospital experience required
Ability to provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
Willingness to float to sister healthcare facilities as needed
Commitment to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced ER setting
Manage a 1 : 3 nurse-to-patient ratio across adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations
Perform triage, stroke, STEMI, trauma, and comprehensive emergency procedures
Utilize advanced clinical skills : central line care, CPAP / BiPAP, IV vasopressors, ventilator management
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, social services)
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
Adhere to isolation precautions and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
Participate in ongoing education and complete annual training modules
