Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee both routine and complex laboratory experiments and procedures while ensuring adherence to all relevant regulatory standards (e.g., DEA, EPA, FDA, FIFRA, OECD).
- Develop new methods and procedures to solve technical challenges and improve operational efficiency.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert for internal teams and external partners.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting on laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
- Conduct research studies focused on chemical behavior, stability, and environmental impact.
- Analyze complex datasets, review and verify the work of colleagues, and prepare detailed technical reports, SOPs, and documentation.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients on assigned studies or projects.
- Collaborate with business development teams to evaluate potential projects and upcoming study opportunities.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while providing guidance, oversight, and technical direction to other scientific staff.
- Potentially serve as a Study Director, ensuring GLP compliance for assigned projects.
- Partner with scientific team members to discuss research findings and prepare technical papers or reports.
- Train junior staff on laboratory techniques, procedures, and best practices.

Experience working in a laboratory environment is required.Prior GLP study director experience or project management exposure is preferred.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences) and at least five years of directly applicable experience.A Master’s degree with three years of relevant experience may substitute for the bachelor’s requirement.A PhD in a related discipline may substitute for both degree and experience requirements.In exceptional cases, substantial demonstrated competence in the field may serve as a substitute for formal education.
