Allied Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details :

  • Work Saturday / Sunday / Monday schedule from 6 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures
  • Handle and administer radiopharmaceuticals under physician direction
  • Maintain radiation safety protocols and quality control standards
  • Operate nuclear medicine cameras and related equipment
  • Prepare examinations for radiologist interpretation
  • Transport, move, and position patients safely and appropriately
  • Document nuclear medicine examinations and perform quality control analysis
  • Operate facility-based computer systems
  • Participate in quality assurance activities
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from AMA approved program required
  • Registration by ARRT or NMTCB required
  • Ohio state licensure required
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Minimum 2 years diagnostic imaging experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills, communication abilities, and critical thinking required
  • Must have permanent address 50+ miles away to qualify as traveler
  • Physical demands include sedentary work with occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
