Lisa Cole with Robert Half is currently looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead an accounting team in Sacramento, California. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations while fostering a collaborative and productive department environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, an analytical mindset, and a deep understanding of financial principles and regulations.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise, delegate, and guide the accounting team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Develop and implement departmental controls, systems, and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage the preparation and completion of major financial projects, including month-end and year-end reports, adhering to deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with financial legislation and organizational policies across all accounting processes.
• Analyze financial data and generate reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties, such as vendors or lenders.
• Maintain accurate financial records and oversee audits, reconciliations, and related processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that guide strategic decisions and objectives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and financial regulations to ensure the department operates effectively.
• Train and motivate accounting staff to foster growth and development within the team.
