Journeyman Plumber

As a Journeyman / Journeywoman Plumber, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring that plumbing systems are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards. Your expertise will not only enhance the functionality of residential and commercial spaces but also ensure safety and compliance with regulations. You'll be working in various environments, showcasing your skills in construction plumbing while collaborating with a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional service.

• What you'll do
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine plumbing layouts and requirements.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for pipe threading, assembly, and installation tasks.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution.
• Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe connections and repairs.
• Execute heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites.
• Provide field service support, addressing customer inquiries and resolving plumbing issues efficiently.
• Basic qualifications
• Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing installations.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing projects.
• Preferred qualifications
• Experience in carpentry or maintenance person roles that complement plumbing skills.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations if applicable for job duties.
• Previous experience in remodeling or maintenance projects involving plumbing systems.

Pay : $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
