- What you'll do
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine plumbing layouts and requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for pipe threading, assembly, and installation tasks.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe connections and repairs.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites.
- Provide field service support, addressing customer inquiries and resolving plumbing issues efficiently.
- Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing installations.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing projects.
- Preferred qualifications
- Experience in carpentry or maintenance person roles that complement plumbing skills.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations if applicable for job duties.
