Regional Medical Assistant Float -Largo, FL
Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
Pay : $18.00–$21.00 / hour
We’re hiring a Regional Medical Assistant Float to provide both clinical and front office support across multiple clinics in the region (up to 85% travel). This role includes direct patient care, administering medication, and assisting providers with exams and procedures. You'll report to your home clinic’s Office Manager and help ensure smooth operations at each assigned location.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients, take vitals, and record medical history in EMR
- Assist with exams, procedures, and in-office testing
- Administer medications, start IVs, and perform phlebotomy
- Handle front desk duties : phones, scheduling, check-in / out
- Maintain inventory and help keep clinic areas clean and stocked
- Educate patients and assist providers as needed
- Support onboarding of new team members
- Travel regularly within the assigned region
Qualifications
High school diploma required; Medical Assistant training preferred1+ year of MA experienceCPR and IV certification preferredPhlebotomy and EMR experience preferredStrong communication, multitasking, and organizational skillsMust have reliable transportationPhysical Requirements
Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 15 lbsAble to work on your feet for extended periodsCompensation & Benefits

At least one year of clinical medical assisting experience
Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height.Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records.Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.Set up medical laboratory equipment.Inventory and order medical, lab, or office supplies or equipment.
