Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician with 4 to 5 years' experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities by performing a variety of maintenance tasks. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and functional environment for all employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on various systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Fabricate components as needed to support facility operations.
  • Oversee residential painting projects, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Skills

  • Proficiency in fabricating components for various applications.
  • Experience with residential painting techniques and standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of logic controllers and their applications in facility maintenance.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on responsiveness and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with CMMS software for efficient maintenance management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of facilities maintenance practices and safety protocols.
  • Good communication skills

    • Physical Demands :

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with arms, and stoop.
  • Must frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
