Job descriptionStrong organizational skills and ability to work independently Ability to lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly and stand for at least 8 hours per day Comfortable working in a non-air-conditioned shop environment Proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office and MRP / ERP systems (experience with COUNTERPART a plus) Ability to read blueprints and understand Bills of Material (BOMs) Certification in forklift operation (or willingness to obtain)
Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Maintain and update accurate inventory records and component locations within MRP / ERP systems
- Accurately record all material movements and transactions
- Pick and kit jobs completely and correctly to keep fabrication and assembly on schedule
- Communicate daily with work-cell leads and Production Scheduler to adjust priorities
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including cycle counts, min-max reporting, and scrap processing
- Identify and submit at least two process-improvement opportunities per month
