\n\nTravel Nursing Job Details\n \n

  • Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse\n
  • Location : Birthing Center / Mother Baby Unit, Martinsburg, WV 25401\n
  • Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM), full-time\n
  • Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed\n
  • Duration : 13 weeks (October 6, 2025 – January 5, 2026)\n
  • Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend & holiday rotation required\n
  • Orientation : 1 onboarding shift + 1 12-hour floor orientation with preceptor\n
  • Estimated Weekly Pay : $2160 - $2310\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active RN license (West Virginia or compact state) – required for West Virginia nursing jobs\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience (2 years preferred)\n
  • Mother Baby nursing experience (at least 1 year preferred)\n
  • C-section experience required; must be able to circulate & recover\n
  • Certifications : BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)\n
  • Ability to float between Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units\n
  • First-time travel nurses welcome!\n

    • \n\nL&D RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a modern birthing center\n
  • Circulate and recover C-sections as part of the clinical support team\n
  • Monitor fetal health using Centricity FHM system\n
  • Collaborate with OB hospitalists, neonatology support, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams\n
  • Promote family-centered care and safe sleep practices\n
  • Participate in weekend and holiday rotations\n
  • Document patient care using EPIC EMR\n
  • Assist with cross-coverage between Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units\n
