Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Inside Shop Machinists for projects located in Newport News, VA . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $37.31 / hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope :

Operate Manual and / or NC machines
Working wth lathes, mills, horizontal and vertical machining centers

Responsibilities

Ability to comprehend complex mechanical drawings and blueprints

Minimum of 5+ years minimum experience as an Inside Shop Machinist

Proficient with controllers such as : Fanuc, Siemens, Acramatic, CincinnatiMilacron etc.

Proficient with threading and the various measuring / gauging

Familiar with carbide machining processes
