Job Overview Summary

The Training Specialist is responsible for conducting professional training events on Advarra software for customers and internal employees. This individual is responsible for creating and maintain all materials and documentation related to training. This position requires strong interpersonal skills along with high level facilitation skills for varying group sizes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Customer Product Training – Develop and deliver training content sessions based on customer specific workflows either remotely or onsite.
  • Employee Onboarding – Design, deliver, and coordinate new hire, role specific, training of required systems
  • Competency Evaluation – Review and assess established competencies across products for both internal and external product users.
  • Facilitate professional training events for customers; demonstrate expertise in our software products as well as an understanding of industry best practices.

  • Develop and / or update training presentations, tests, study guides, job aids, and reference materials under the guidance of training leadership and / or subject matter experts.
  • Assist in conducting organizational-wide training needs assessments to identify skills and knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.
  • Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts.
  • Gather feedback from trainees after each education session.
  • Provide oversight and monitoring of Advarra community platforms to inform new practices, knowledge gaps, identify areas for training opportunities Collaborate with LMS Administrator to ensure training materials, eLearning modules, and courses are available and updated in LearnUpon / Advarra University
  • Collaborate with team members to establish and maintain library of all current documentation
  • Collaborate with the eLearning team to develop, review, and update eLearning modules as needed Demonstrate exceptional ability to deliver candid and constructive feedback to others as part of their coaching and development.
  • Maintains attendance records and results of assessments and retraining.
  • Interact with customers via phone or email in a professional and prompt manner.
  • Provide responses to inquiries and troubleshoot issues by evaluating and analyzing symptoms.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Location

This role is open to candidates working remotely in the US.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of training experience.
  • Experience conducting effective and comprehensive training for software or other technical tools.
  • Ability to conduct virtual training via specialized tools such as Zoom, Adobe Connect, RingCentral, etc.
  • Ability to confidently deliver training virtually and in a traditional classroom setting.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Dedication to professional development, continually growing own skills, staying on top of industry trends, etc.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication skills, including listening, writing, and speaking.
  • Advanced Word skills (using templates, styles, fields, etc.)
  • Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation
  • Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.
  • Learn and comprehend basic instructions
  • Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities
  • Verbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking

    Pay Transparency Statement

    The base salary range for this role is $51,600 - $87,800. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
