We are currently looking for a Billing Operations Coordinator to enhance our billing processes. In this essential client-facing role, you'll handle complex billing tasks for our attorneys while meeting tight deadlines and ensuring precision.
As a Billing Operations Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and processing billing for principal billing partners, including drafting, editing, and preparing pre-bills and final bills according to attorney and client specifications.
- Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of billing and related documentation.
- Confirming fee arrangements like flat fees and billed on account are correctly reflected for each matter.
- Generating and delivering client invoices in preferred formats.
- Managing e-billing requirements to ensure timely billing completion.
- Responding to queries related to billing issues.
- Monitoring Work In Process (WIP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) for assigned attorneys.
- Generating billing statements and production reports upon request.
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of one (1) year of billing experience in a law or professional services firm is required.
- Prior experience with 3E is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is necessary.
We believe in transparency regarding compensation. The salary range for this role is as follows:
- Orlando: $58,100 - $81,300
- Chicago, Dallas, & Houston: $63,900 - $89,400
