Architectural Designer
Overview
Oversee construction projects in the retail industry, managing all aspects from planning through completion including MEP systems, budgets, and vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal teams for project execution
Manage budgets, schedules, and change orders
Review contractor submittals, schedules, and payment applications
Conduct site visits and quality oversight
Coordinate equipment and fixture procurement / installation
Ensure compliance with regulations and lease agreements
Provide regular project reports to stakeholders
Maintain safety protocols and risk management
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
5+ years commercial construction experience (retail preferred)
Proficiency in project management software and CAD
Strong understanding of MEP systems
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Financial management experience
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree
PMP or related certification
Retail construction experience
