Production Manager
The Production Manager position plays a key role in the manufacturing process of Chart's products. This position will oversee the day to day operations of the department including managing the production processes and staff associated with them. This role will be critical in ensuring that Chart achieves key metrics around on time delivery, quality, safety, and efficiencies.
What Will You Do?
- Coordinate with customers to develop project plan and timelines
- Daily and weekly customer update meetings
- Manage the Production Scheduling and coordination of activities within the respective group
- Initiate inter-departmental collaboration to meet production proficiencies and quality objectives
- Oversee Production Processes and guide personnel on production plans, schedules and key metrics
- Develop / implement process improvements and cost reduction initiatives
- Provide leadership to achieve positive morale, production efficiencies, adherence to company policies, production timelines while maintaining high levels of quality and safety
- Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety guidelines / procedures / standards
- Collaborate with Engineering on design, new product development, equipment specifications, appropriate documentation and submittal of NCRs
- Investigate production issues and develop resolutions
- Assist in employee recruitment, performance evaluations, discipline, succession programs and retention
