Summary:
-
Managing subcontracts from RFP through contract award and lifecycle execution
-
Monitoring and controlling subcontract cost, schedule, and performance
-
Implementing supplier corrective action plans and driving return-to-green initiatives
-
Preparing and presenting status reports to senior and executive leadership
-
Partnering with Compliance teams to support audits and regulatory reviews
-
(LG4/LG5 only) Mentoring team members and serving as a subject-matter expert on complex, Spec/SOW-driven subcontracts
Requirements:
-
Experience (dependent on LG level) in government procurement and subcontract acquisitions
-
Strong understanding of global supply chain and complex government procurement concepts
-
Experience conducting data analysis, research, and negotiations using multiple data sources
-
Demonstrated expertise in cost/price analysis and negotiation strategy development
-
Experience evaluating proposals and negotiating in accordance with FAR and DFARS
-
Experience working with Statements of Work (SOWs)
-
Experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) and labor contracts
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Experience leading teams or project initiatives with demonstrated problem-solving skills
-
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional environments
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational skills
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Skills:

Working knowledge of DoD contract types

Experience with SAP systems

Ability to onboard new suppliers and manage supplier performance

Knowledge of labor contracts and labor-driven procurement
-
Familiarity with Special Operations Forces (SOF) contracts

Experience establishing and managing competitive and non-competitive pricing agreements
-
Proven experience leading complex negotiations
-
Experience leading or supporting a Subcontract Management Team (SMT)
-
Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, suppliers, and external stakeholders
