Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel ️ Respiratory Therapist – Lexington, Nebraska ️ Location : Lexington, NE Shift : 12-hour Day Shifts (6 : 30 AM – 7 : 00 PM) ✅ Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week ⚡ Status : Potential Backfill Need Position Overview : We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to join our team in Lexington, Nebraska. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you’ll provide care across all age groups — from newborns to geriatrics — while supporting multiple hospital departments. Key Responsibilities : Deliver comprehensive respiratory care services in inpatient, outpatient, ER, and delivery settings. Assist with C-sections, perform ABGs, BiPAP, ventilator management (as needed), and use of NeoPuff equipment. Administer respiratory therapies including nebulizers, inhalers, and incentive spirometry. Rotate on-call coverage for nights and weekends as part of the team schedule. Document care accurately using Cerner charting system. Qualifications : Credentials : RRT or CRT – Certified through NBRC Licensure : Current Nebraska Respiratory License Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (through AHA) Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Flexibility to support various hospital units “We are an equal opportunity employer.
