• Nurse Manager – Medical Surgical Unit – Georgetown, TX Employment Type : Full-Time, Permanent Schedule : Days (No Weekends) Compensation : Up to $113,000 / year (based on experience) Sign-On Bonus : Up to $15,000 Relocation Assistance : Available Overview We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for the Medical Surgical Unit in Georgetown, TX.
• This is a hands-on leadership opportunity within a 45-bed Med Surg unit that cares for a diverse range of diagnoses.
• As part of a highly respected healthcare system, you will oversee daily operations, support nursing staff, and ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based care.

• Responsibilities Provide leadership and supervision for nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care.
• Oversee daily unit operations, staff scheduling, and assignments.
• Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and hospital leadership to maintain effective communication and coordination.
• Monitor compliance with core measures, quality standards, and hospital policies.
• Round on staff and patients daily to ensure engagement and satisfaction.
• Handle conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Serve as a hands-on leader, stepping in to assist with patient care when needed.
• Qualifications Required Active RN license (Texas or Compact).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• Preferred Leadership or charge nurse experience in a Med Surg environment.
• Strong conflict resolution and team development skills.
• Commitment to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
