Seeking a BE / BC Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join talented team in northern IL. This position will work closely with cardiology, pulmonology, medical oncology and radiation oncology. A rewarding practice in the heart of the Midwest alongside a strong oncology program with more than 65% of the market share.

Details :

Providing care to cardiothoracic surgery patients, working closely with advanced practice providers who streamline workflow and patient management

Working exclusively in the region's only designated Heart Hospital, this is the most preferred provider of cardiac services in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.

Starting a TAVR program with the support of 10 cardiologists

Supporting cancer center in caring for lung cancer patients

Access to state-of-the-art equipment and operating rooms, with brand new hybrid room, 15 modern surgical suites and 3 Da Vinci Xi robots

30-bed ICU with dedicated in-house intensivist support

12-county regional referral area in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin, with a catchment area of over 500,000

Academic appointment and teaching available

Compensation & Benefits :

Competitive salary range : $775,926 – $898,241
