Our client is an innovative leader in the biotechnology and medical device industry and they are now seeking a Project Manager of Bioprocessing Solutions / Medical Device to join their dynamic team.

Salary / Hourly Rate :

$150k - $165k

Position Overview :

The Project Manager of Bioprocessing Solutions / Medical Device will lead cross-functional product development initiatives supporting the company's bioprocessing solutions portfolio. This role is critical to driving innovation and operational excellence across engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in regulated environments, preferably within medical devices or life sciences, and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager of Bioprocessing Solutions / Medical Device :

  • Lead product development projects from concept through commercialization using structured stage-gate methodology.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain teams to define scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and ROI metrics.
  • Facilitate project meetings, maintain action logs, and ensure documentation compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor resource allocation, risk levels, and project confidence metrics; escalate issues as needed.
  • Provide concise project updates to leadership, highlighting scope, quality, timeline, and financial status.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, tools, and documentation.

Required Experience / Skills for the Project Manager of Bioprocessing Solutions / Medical Device :

  • Proven success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience in life sciences, medical devices, or bioprocessing manufacturing environments.
  • Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required for cross-site collaboration or vendor engagement.
  • Preferred Experience / Skills for the Project Manager of Bioprocessing Solutions / Medical Device :

  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Education Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing cross-functional product development projects in a regulated industry.
  • Formal project management training : PMP certification preferred.
