About the ADON Position :
The primary purpose of the ADON position is to work directly with the Director of Nursing to assist in and supervise the day-to-day functioning of the healthcare center. This includes overseeing nursing staff to promote exceptional nursing care (physical, emotional, and social) of our residents in the healthcare center. Such assistance and supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services to ensure the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. The ADON will guide staffing procedures, assist in ongoing staff training / education, and assist in the development and evaluation of QAPI initiatives including collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The ADON possesses strong communication skills and has the ability to tactfully manage issues / concerns of staff, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies / personnel.

Candidates must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in the state of Pennsylvania. Supervisory experience is required.
