About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 6-week locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin. This opportunity begins on Nov 24, 2025, and features day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7am to 4pm. The role involves delivering general primary care to employees and their dependents, with no flexibility in the start date.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide comprehensive primary care services to employees and their dependents

Conduct patient assessments and manage acute and chronic conditions

Perform physical examinations and preventive health screenings

Order and interpret diagnostic tests as required

Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal guidelines

Collaborate with supervising physicians and healthcare team members

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies

Additional Information

Minimum of 3 years of recent true primary care experience required

Active Wisconsin license required

Board certification in Family Medicine required

Certifications required : Basic Life Support (BLS), Department of Transportation (DOT), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)

Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred
