American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring an AK RN license, 2 years of IR / Cath Lab experience, and Epic documentation skills.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position based in an acute hospital Interventional Radiology departmentMagnet facility with Level II Trauma designationPatient population includes those requiring interventional radiology and cath lab proceduresShift is 4x10 hour days, typically 7 : 00-17 : 00On-call required one day per week and every 4th / 5th weekend (Friday evening to Monday morning)Approximately one Saturday per month required as part of scheduled shiftsFloating required to EP or other IR departments within the facility and affiliatesUse of Epic EMR is requiredScrubs are providedPosition involves providing skilled nursing care for interventional radiology and cath lab patientsTravelers must float to all facilities as needed within the stateNot open to block scheduling requestsHoliday coverage is required for 2 out of 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New YearFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyThe maximum assignment duration is 1 calendar year, followed by a required 6-month break before returningLimited time off may be approved; only one request per 13-week assignmentParking is free for travelersPre-employment modules must be completed prior to start and annually\n \n Requirements\n
Active AK RN license required at time of offer (pending accepted at submission)Current BLS and ACLS certifications requiredMinimum of 2 years of recent IR / Cath Lab RN experience requiredExperience with Epic EMR requiredMust provide at least 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years in a comparable settingPermanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility; local candidates not acceptedPermanent staff must be separated for at least 3 months before applying as a travelerOnly Hepatitis B vaccination accepted (no titers or declinations)\n Benefits\n
