Medical Billing Specialist

A company is looking for a Medical Billing- Payer Strategy & Contracting Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct contract negotiation discussions with payers on behalf of clients

Review, interpret, and maintain payer contracts and fee schedules

Collaborate with finance and AR teams to ensure accurate billing system integration of payer terms

Required Qualifications and Education

High School Diploma or GED

2-4 years of medical billing and claims resolution experience preferred

AAHAM and / or HFMA certification preferred

Experience with offshore engagement and collaboration desired

Strong understanding of payer contracts and reimbursement methodologies
