Contract Software Asset Management Analyst

Cleveland, OH

Currently, we are seeking individuals for a Software Asset Management Analyst opportunity with our client in Cleveland, Ohio. This opportunity is 100% remote! Candidate MUST reside in the United States.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities :

  • Creating software catalog items.
  • Managing ownership moves, data updates, etc. to those catalog items.
  • Linking raw / discovery evidence to software titles.
  • Consulting with other projects on data catalog processes (i.e. process design).
  • Supporting internal request processes by working off of work order tickets

Required Skills :

  • Knowledge of general software install and software discovery behaviors
  • Knowledge and understanding of both Hardware and Software Management processes and the data involved
  • Working knowledge of a Service Management and Product Catalog (ideally Helix and Flexera) for managing Hardware, Software and other Service Management Products
  • Soft skills : customer service skills, collaborative, quick learner, ability to identify priority work, ability to follow documented processes
  • Strong troubleshooting and requirements gathering skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft apps like Word and Excel

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Familiar with working Service Request queues and accomplishing related tasks
