Locum Tenens Dermatologist (PRN) – $237 / hour

A well-established healthcare organization in Davenport, IA is seeking a Board-Certified Dermatologist for PRN locum tenens coverage in a general dermatology outpatient clinic. This is a flexible, no-call opportunity in a highly supportive, team-based setting.

Position Overview

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM

Patient Contact Hours : 8 : 00–11 : 45 AM and 1 : 00–5 : 00 PM

Shifts per Month : PRN / Variable

Call : None

Daily Volume : ~30 patients / day

Appointment Length : 15 minutes

Setting : Outpatient Dermatology Clinic

EMR : Cerner

‍ Practice Details

Scope : General dermatology (biopsies, skin checks, rashes, acne, eczema, etc.)

– No Mohs surgery performed

On-Site Team : 1 MD and 1 newly hired APP

Supervision : No APP supervision required

Nursing Support : 2 : 1 nurse-to-provider ratio

Exam Rooms : 2 per provider

On-Site Lab / Pharmacy : Not available

Teaching : Optional (via Family Medicine residency program)

Hospital Medical Staff Membership : Required (if infusions are ordered)

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate : $237.00 / hour

Overtime Rate : $355.00 / hour

Travel & Lodging : Covered

Licensing & Certification Reimbursement : Provided

Malpractice Insurance : Included

Candidate Requirements

Board Certified in Dermatology – Required

Fellowship Trained in Dermatology – Required

Active Iowa License or IMLC LOQ – Required

– LOQ must be submitted if using IMLC
