I. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The engineering technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing all equipment using company-standard-compliant software.

This position is responsible for

• Modifying process control and process automation in a continuous process manufacturing plant.
• Development, programming, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Develop and ensure deployment and support the users' network and will use systems to perform engineering tasks and electrical troubleshooting.
• Modify equipment programs, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
• Provides production and operational support as needed and collaborates with other engineering and support functions within the organization.

Allen Bradley : PLC 5, MicroLogix, Allen Bradley Drive Software, Communications Software

II. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college; 3-5 years related experience and / or training; or

equivalent combination of education and experience. Close attention to detail. Experience working with

computers. Strong communication skills.
