Hazen and Sawyer is seeking candidates with 10 - 15 years of experience in planning and design of water and wastewater-related projects. Desired experience will focus on treatment facilities, processes, pumping systems, and pipelines. Experience should encompass hydraulic evaluations, conceptual / feasibility studies, preparation of design reports, development of construction drawings and specifications, bidding assistance, and support of office and field-related construction services. Experience in managing interdisciplinary teams across multiple offices to effectively meet the client’s needs is a key characteristic for candidates.

Key Responsibilities :
Candidate to be involved with a wide range of projects including planning, design, permitting, and construction.Candidate shall be capable of supervising junior staff and managing projects. Candidate shall also be able to lead business development activities including preparation of proposals and presentations.The position will include a high level of client development and management in our Orlando, Florida office. Fieldwork and site visits from planning through construction may be required with occasional travel.Requirements :
BS degree in environmental, agricultural, civil, mechanical, or chemical engineering (MS or ME preferred)10 – 15 years of experienceA current PE license is required (Florida preferred or ability to obtain reciprocity within six months of employment)Experience in planning, design, and construction for water and wastewater treatment facilitiesProficient in all MS Office based computer softwareExperience in project management requiredProficient in EnglishExcellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, and capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agenciesSelf-starter with attention to detailStrong organizational skillsWhat We Offer :
