Radiology Technologist Job Details Location : Weirton, WV 26062 (Ohio Valley region) Healthcare Setting : Acute Care Hospital Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Oct 31, 2025 - Jan 30, 2026) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Shift : 8 or 10 hour night shifts; every other weekend required Orientation : 5 shifts with a preceptor Radiology Technologist Qualifications Valid ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist) Current BLS certification West Virginia X-ray License WV CARES clearance prior to start Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist (first-time travelers welcome) Proficiency in General X-ray, Portable X-ray, OR, and Fluoroscopy Copy of unexpired driver's license required for submission Radiology Technologist Responsibilities Perform general X-ray studies, OR cases (cystos, ortho, GI), and fluoroscopy cases (ortho & GI) Float between general radiology department, fluoroscopy, and operating room as needed Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment (GE, Siemens, Philips, Del Medical) Utilize EMR (Community Works) and PACS (Intellirad / Intelliconnect) systems Work independently overnight as the sole radiology technologist in-house Maintain professional appearance; any color scrubs permitted (emerald green optional) Participate in holiday rotation and work every other weekend Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your radiology career with this travel technologist job in Weirton, West Virginia!
