Responsibilities

• Design studies that address both user behavior and attitudes related to technology and products.
• Conduct research using a wide variety of quantitative methods and a subset of qualitative methods, such as surveys.
• Collaborate with product teams to identify research topics and generate insights that fuel ideation and evaluate designs.
• Oversee and design the user experience component to generate actionable insights.
• Incorporate user experience design, data, research, and user-computer technologies to develop and enhance experiences of products.
• Conduct applied product research and / or focus on directly relevant research topics to understand users’ behaviors, motivations, and attitudes about the products.
• Define the user model and research how humans use technology products to meet user needs through technological development.
• Use quantitative concepts to design studies addressing user behavior and attitudes, and communicate results creatively.
• Review existing data and product designs to generate hypotheses and plans for high-impact research.
• Analyze user behavior data through channels such as statistics, user testing, semi-formal interviews, observation, surveys, A / B testing, and log analysis.
• Apply expertise in information science, UX design, and human factors to brainstorm and create design objectives.
• Assess the user-interface or usability characteristics of Meta products for improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product management, content strategy, engineering, and marketing teams to complete projects.
• Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. is permitted.

Public Compensation : $202,014 / year to $221,540 / year + bonus + equity + benefits
