Connectivity plays a pivotal role in using and advancing technology to offer unparalleled customer experience and develop revenue-generating streams, while acting as a cornerstone to offer safety-critical, hands-free driving solutions in line with General Motor’s strong safety culture. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Connectivity Module Hardware Engineer with a strong background in 5G, BT, Wi-Fi, BLE, UWB, and NFC technologies. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of management experience in hardware development, as well as hands-on experience in hardware design, including system architecture, schematic capture, thermal analysis, and layout related to power circuitry, PCB flooring plan, RF front end, etc., to develop best-in-class Connectivity systems for General Motor’s vehicles.
The Connectivity Module Hardware Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing a small team and leading the design, development, validation, and issue resolution of hardware components and systems that support Connectivity technologies across all GM vehicles and architectures. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including vehicle integration, product managers, and system engineers, to create secure and reliable Connectivity solutions and help define future technology roadmaps and resolve issues during development and production.
