POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Dock Experts tradesmen make up the bulk of our field force : both barge and land crews : performing work on daily weekly and project-based activities for all our marine construction projects. High levels of integrity accountability the willingness to speak up and an unshakable ability to maintain a brisk pace and consistent positive can-do attitude are necessary in upholding TDX quality and safety standards while disrupting and challenging the industry status quo.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Ensure proper setup operation take down cleanliness organization and maintenance of materials equipment and machinery

Assist in loading / unloading of materials equipment and supplies to and from trucks jobsites and barges ensuring proper stowage and securing of cargo to prevent shifting or damage during transit

If operating on a barge assist in proper mooring / anchoring of vessels handling lines chains and anchors in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines

Perform tasks aligned to projects : demolition construction and / or installation of seawalls docks piles boat lifts : digging shoveling lifting carrying carpentry framing rigging positioning structural components and working with a wide variety of tools and equipment

Ensure construction equipment and tools are clean organized and stored in an orderly fashion after each use. Dispose of rubble / debris / trash and hazardous worn damaged outdated or other waste materials from work areas and maintain a baseline organization and site cleanliness

Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning / painting / lubricating equipment & machinery. Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel for resolution

Requirements

ESSENTIAL JOB EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Construction experience
• Current valid drivers license
• Reliable personal transportation
• Conversational in English
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work a full shift in extreme heat
• Ability to swim
• Ability to pass a controlled substance screening
• Ability to pass a background check
