National Account Director - Oncology GPO
National Account Director role with Syneos Health focusing on oncology and specialty immunology GPO accounts and specialty distributors. Building strategic solutions, account plans and expanding relationships.
In this role you will
- Negotiate and execute contracts with assigned targets to remove economic barriers and implement initiatives within GPOs.
- Manage specialty and oncology GPOs and community business with product messaging and customer insights.
- Work with multiple internal stakeholders and serve as main point of contact for decisions.
- Support launch planning for biologics and biosimilar products with access strategies for GPO customers.
- Lead development of access action plans for assigned GPOs to ensure optimal launch access.
- Formulate, implement, and assess business plan with internal team to achieve objectives and capitalize on opportunities.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.10+ years in pharmaceutical industry with at least 8 in market access account management or leadership.GPO account management experience with key oncology GPO relationships.Ability to travel up to 40%.Desired Requirements
Success in gaining preferred formulary positioning within targeted accounts.Track record in sales / government / managed account sales in specialty bio-pharma.Demonstrated leadership, project management and team development ability.Experience launching new product / start‑up.The annual base salary for this position ranges from $210,000 to $225,000. Salary will vary based on qualifications, skills and competencies.
