Overview
Private Wealth Management Client Service Associate - Bilingual English / Mandarin at Morgan Stanley. This role provides exceptional service to clients and supports Financial Advisor(s) / Private Wealth Advisor(s) on a daily basis. The position emphasizes a client-first mindset and building trusted client relationships through regular interactions.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and enhance new and existing client relationships through active communication with clients, processing client requests, resolving inquiries, providing guidance and ensuring key information and documentation remain current
- Identify and assist with firm services and solutions that support clients’ needs, including banking products, digital offerings (Morgan Stanley Online, Morgan Stanley Mobile)
- Confirm authorization and authenticate client when processing requests
- Onboard and maintain client accounts, including collecting client information and required documentation, assessing risk, processing money movement transactions, and handling estate needs as applicable
- Input orders at the direction of clients and / or Financial Advisor(s); discuss reinvestment options and corporate actions with clients as directed
- Prepare financial plans, client reports, and other materials for client meetings
- Review and take appropriate action on client account alerts

Partner with Financial Advisor(s) in developing a business plan and delivering against a client service modelSupport the team’s marketing strategy by maintaining marketing materials, including digital and social media platforms, and planning client events and seminarsEngage in available training and education programs, including firm priorities, professional development, policies, procedures, and new platforms; attend scheduled training callsPerform administrative duties supporting Financial Advisors in daily business practices (telephone coverage, travel arrangements, coordinating client meetings, travel and expense reports, filing and calendar maintenance)Participate in firm initiatives directed by local managementSeek opportunities to use firm resources for peer sharing and collaboration with Financial AdvisorsEducation, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Education and / or Experience
Willingness to obtain Series 7 and Series 66 or Series 63 and Series 65Two or more years of industry experience preferredHigh School Diploma / EquivalencyCollege degree preferredKnowledge & Skills

Compensation
Expected base pay ranges between $34,320 and $90,000 per year at start. Base pay is determined on an individualized basis and may include commissions, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and other benefit programs.
