Experience with patient ratios.

Experience with charting systems.

Description :

The position involves providing care on a general medical surgical floor.

Nurses will care for adult and geriatric patients.

The unit typically has a daily census of 23 patients.

The nurse will engage in interdisciplinary support with various teams including physical therapy and social services.

Patient diagnoses on this unit primarily include those awaiting facility placement.

Compliance requirements include BLS, med / surg competency exam, and various skills assessments.

Candidates must be experienced in interpreting and managing telemetry.

Registered nurses must float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed.

Candidates who have previously worked in this facility must disclose that information to check for rehire eligibility.

All candidates must be aware of compliance and eligibility procedures prior to submission.
