Subcontract Administrator Lexington, KY Secret Clearance
You will be the Subcontract Administrator for the SOF GLSS (Special Operations Forces - Global Logistic Sustainment Services) contract located in Lexington, KY. Our team is responsible for providing logistics and sustainment support to multiple programs and platforms, with a global supply base that makes a significant positive impact on the warfighter. You must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
What You Will Be Doing As the Subcontract Administrator embedded with a SOF GLSS Program Team, you will be responsible for managing subcontracts of varying complexity throughout their lifecycle, from request for proposal to contract creation, and ensuring cost, schedule, and performance are met. Your responsibilities will include :
- Administering / Managing subcontracts from request for proposal to contract creation and through the life cycle of the effort.
- Overseeing cost, schedule, and performance of subcontracts.
- Implementing supplier corrective actions and return to green efforts as required.
- Providing status reports to senior and executive leadership.
- Collaborating with Compliance to support audits.
Basic Qualification :
X(dependent on LG) year experience in Government procurements / subcontract Acquisitions; Comprehensive understanding of Global Supply Chain and / or complex Government procurement concepts and best practicesAbility to conduct data analysis or research and / or understanding of negotiations to include multiple data sourcesComprehensive understanding of negotiations and ability to analyze cost / price to establish a negotiation positionDemonstrated experience with proposal evaluations (Price / Cost Analysis) and negotiations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)Experience with Statements of WorkExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience leading teams and project initiatives; Demonstrated critical thinking / problem solving abilities to include experience with lean initiatives and supporting cross functional teamsAbility to work both independently and within a team structureProficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Power Point, Word, Excel)Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environmentStrong organizational skillsDesired Skills :
