Physical Requirements
Clothing PPE : Ability to wear personal protective gear (which may include, but is not limited to, composite toe shoes, gloves, headwear, face masks, hearing protection, fall protection, high visibility clothing, and / or safety glasses)
Communication : Effectively in person and via radio or other electronic means.
Hearing : Ability to hear, distinguish, and differentiate between various sounds such as safety alarms or those necessary to inspect and maintain equipment, or identify potential hazards.
Lifting : Lifting and or carrying objects up to 25 pounds.
Dexterity : Use hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
Hearing : Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech in person, over the telephone, or applicable wireless communication devices (such as a two-way radio).
Lifting - Able to lift 20 to 50lbs repetitively throughout the course of a shift without assistance (weight varies based on product).
Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of a production / technical nature.
Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily production / technical nature.
Operating equipment that requires hand-eye coordination and good manual dexterity.
Operating heavy equipment : Warehouse workers may need to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Positioning : Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
Postures Awkward : Maintaining awkward postures with the neck, shoulders, wrists, and back.
Postures : Bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching.
Postures : Twisting at the waist.
Pushing or Pulling : Pushing / pulling objects up to 25 pounds.
Reaching : Reaching overhead, at or below the shoulder, and with hands and arms.
Repetitive Motions : Many warehouse tasks involve repetitive motions, such as scanning items, packing boxes, or loading items onto a conveyor belt.
Repetitive Motions : Repeating the same movements with the arms, wrists, hands, feet, and or fingers.
Standing and Walking : Will need to stand for long periods of time, such as when packing items, or walk long distances, such as when picking items from different locations.
Vision : Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)

About the Role
How you will contribute :
As a forklift driver you will be responsible for unloading / loading automotive parts from trucks and bulk containers. You will be lifting parts that come in bins, racks, and pallets and be responsible to put them on appropriate shelves in the warehouse.
