Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level litigation associate to join its Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in Washington, DC.

This role will focus on high-level insurance coverage litigation, dispute analysis, and coverage assessments, including emerging issues related to environmental and product liability.

Key Responsibilities :

Draft complex case evaluations, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents

Handle all phases of litigation from inception through trial and appeal

Conduct legal research and draft memoranda

Manage discovery, including depositions and written discovery

Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel

Analyze insurance coverage and extra-contractual disputes; draft coverage opinions and assessments

Qualifications :

4 to 6 years of complex litigation experience (insurance coverage experience preferred but not required)

Strong interest in insurance law and emerging risks in environmental and product liability litigation

Excellent writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills

Strong case management and client communication experience

Federal District Court or Appellate clerkship experience is a plus

Licensed and in good standing in Washington, DC
