Maintenance & Facilities Manager

Position Summary The Maintenance & Facilities Manager will be responsible for maximizing plant performance through preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, facility improvements, facility expansions and major projects.

They will be the primary contact on utilities, landscaping, fire suppression, security, municipalities, environmental standards, waste management, recycling initiatives, cleaning and any other need to keep the facility and its assets running in a safe and efficient manner.

The focus of this job centers around producing timely results that are of the highest quality and accuracy.

Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities

• Build upon a rigorous preventative maintenance system which maximizes equipment efficiencies and minimizes downtime.
• Oversee facility improvements which met both budget and timeline expectations.
• Maintain a top tier campus which shows pride in ownership amongst the entire organization.
• Manage and develop an annual Equipment R&M and Building R&M budget
• Municipality management
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop
• Fulfill the managerial responsibilities required at InnerSpace
• Coordinate with both internal and external resources to grow in our business needs Critical Skills & Knowledge
• Ability to manage a skilled workforce
• Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities; working extended hours when required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project
• High level of detail and accuracy
• Must be a self-starter and take initiative on getting things completed.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
• Must have excellent people skills.
• Address issues with logic and emotional maturity Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 10 plus years of maintenance and / or facility management experience.
• Extensive knowledge on utility schematics, municipalities and building maintenance.
