Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with a current NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT certification for full-time day shifts.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Hospital-based MRI department
  • Shift runs from 8 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM
  • Performs MRI scans and radiologic procedures on diverse patient populations
  • Responsibilities include performing high-quality diagnostic MR imaging and administering IV contrast as needed
  • Compliance with hospital radiology standards and safety protocols is expected
  • All required modules and training must be completed prior to assignment start
  • Candidates with expiring certifications must provide renewal receipts or proof of scheduled course dates
  • Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate

  • Current NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License (license required if applicable)
  • Active ARRT certification R.T. (R) (MR)
  • NYS IV / Injection Certification required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA only accepted)
  • Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required, 2 years preferred
  • Submission of at least two professional references from prior managers
