Serene Healthcare Staffing is a Washington-based healthcare staffing agency specializing in Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLS), Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT), and Phlebotomists . We partner with hospitals, diagnostic labs, and healthcare systems to solve staffing shortages with reliable, credentialed professionals.
The Role
We're looking for a Business Development Manager (Lab Focus) to drive client growth across Washington and beyond. This role will focus on identifying new laboratory clients, securing staffing contracts, and building long-term partnerships with hospitals, independent labs, and clinical research organizations. What You'll Do
- Prospect, engage, and close new clients (labs, hospitals, and health systems).
- Negotiate contracts, respond to RFPs, and secure MSA agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Lab Directors, HR, and Vendor Managers.
- Collaborate with recruiters and credentialing teams to deliver staffing solutions.
- Track and report on pipeline, sales performance, and market trends.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
3+ years of sales or business development in healthcare staffing, laboratory services, or healthcare B2B.Strong track record of client acquisition and contract negotiation.Knowledge of hospital labs, diagnostic testing, or healthcare staffing.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS) is a plus.Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.Benefits
