Job Summary
The Assistant will provide entry-level research and administrative support to the Ta Park Lab at UCSF. Primary responsibilities include data entry, data quality checks, general research support tasks such as assisting with participant tracking, and participating in regular team meetings.
This position entails supporting externally funded research projects throughout the research lifecycle, under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, research project manager, and research team. This position will support Dr. Van Ta Park's lab with a focus on the Koreans invested in Making Caregivers Health Important (KIMCHI) 2.0 project, which involves community dissemination activities for the Korean American population. The assistant will assist with data entry, data cleaning, and basic administrative tasks to support ongoing research and outreach efforts. The role follows established procedures and protocols, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in community-based research and academic project coordination.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $25.72 - $36.59 (Hourly Rate).
