Who We Are Looking For : We are currently seeking a Handbag Designer to work at our New York City office. The overall aim of this role is to design seasonal collections of handbags and technical specifications for nationally recognized brands. The candidate needs to illustrate a deep understanding of designing into a brands DNA with a knowledge in both leather and PU manufacturing. Responsibilities : Communicate and work closely with cross functional teams (product development & sales) on concepts, ideas and inspiration for designs Produce brand right designs working in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop Revise projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements : 5 or more years of professional handbag design experience – Design & Tech. Bachelor’s degree required National Brand design experience is a plus Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and able to work as a part of team Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized and able to work well under pressure Strong knowledge in both leather and PU with an eye for color and trends Must be able to complete all tasks given based on designated timelines If you see yourself as our newest team member, please submit your resume, salary requirement and portfolio for consideration.
