Hematology / Oncology Physician

Facility : This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility offering comprehensive oncology services to the community. The facility utilizes EPIC for documentation and provides a collaborative working environment with a supportive staff and modern medical resources for optimal patient care. Opportunity : Board Eligible - Medical Oncology Job Details :

• Outpatient clinic Monday through Friday with hospital call responsibilities
• Manage 15-20 patients per day
• Conduct approximately 4 new consults (60 minutes) per day with remaining time for follow-ups (30 minutes)
• Primarily hematology oncology focus - approximately 30% hematology oncology vs. medical oncology
• Approximately 25% of call is hematology vs. oncology
• Responsible for admitting new patients
• Handle both phone calls and hospital responsibilities during call
• Responsible for ER calls when on call
• Required to see both hematology and oncology patients
• Must have active Washington license or IMLC
• BLS certification required
• Board eligible minimum requirement
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90-120 days
• Call coverage includes approximately 5% callback rate
• Comfortable using EPIC EMR system Compensation : Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
