Sr. Project Manager

About the Role

The Senior Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project life cycles for product launches, brand initiatives, and cross-functional operational workflows. This individual will act as the strategic liaison between product development, marketing, operations, design, and external vendors-ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the company's brand and business goals.

This is a high-impact role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at organization and communication, and has strong experience within the beauty, cosmetics, or CPG industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and manage complex cross-functional projects from concept through launch across product development, marketing, and operations.
• Own project timelines, critical paths, status trackers, and workflow documentation
• Partner closely with Product Development to ensure formula, packaging, and regulatory milestones are met.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, and eCommerce teams to align on campaign assets, messaging, and launch deliverables.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Operations teams regarding production schedules, vendor timelines, inventory planning, and risk mitigation.
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and remain on schedule.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks; propose and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Drive cross-functional meetings, deliver project updates to leadership, and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders.
• Streamline processes and introduce best practices for increased efficiency, scalability, and team alignment.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to junior project coordinators / managers as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5-8+ years of project management experience, preferably within the beauty, cosmetics, personal care, or broader CPG industry
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent product launches or large-scale projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of product development workflows, packaging timelines, and supply chain processes.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product Development, Marketing, Creative, Operations, and external vendors.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar).
• Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field (PMP certification a plus).
