Job Overview

Permanent, intermittent Psychiatric Technician Assistants (PTAs) are needed to escort patients to and from on-grounds clinics, the Family Visitors Center, the Community Hospital, program units, and the Central Staffing Office. Permanent and intermittent employees may work up to 1,500 hours per fiscal year.

Key Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from on-grounds clinics, Family Visitors Center, Community Hospital, program units and the Central Staffing Office.
• Provide coverage in the Registry pool.
• Adhere to registry working hour requirements (12 8-hour shifts per month, at least six weekend shifts, three major holidays and three high-need days per year).
